Mine Doyran

Mine Doyran teaches principles of management, strategic management, business statistics and economics at Lehman College/CUNY and Fashion Institute of Technology/SUNY in New York City. Her research interests include financial and strategic management with a specific interest in corporate crisis management, business strategy and management issues within the financial services industry. Published by Routledge (2011, 2013, 2016), her book examined the key regulations imposed on strategically positioned institutions deemed "too big to fail" in US history. She also follows developments within corporate governance and "generic" strategies applied by firms in decline to regain "market leadership," with an emphasis on the textile and garment industry. Prior to teaching, Dr. Doyran was a junior data analyst at the Bureau of Program and Policy Analysis at a NY state government agency.
