Frank G. A. de Bakker is a full professor of corporate social responsibility at IESEG School of Management and at LEM (CNRS 9221) in Lille, France. He earned his PhD from the University of Twente in the Netherlands. In his research he combines theories on institutions, social movements and stakeholders to examine interactions between activist groups and firms on corporate social responsibility. His research has appeared in journals such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Discoveries, Organization Studies and Journal of Management Studies and many more. De Bakker is a co-editor at Business & Society.
