Denis Anthony (Tony) O’Malley

Denis Anthony (Tony) O’Malley is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of South Australia. He holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (Adelaide, 1965), an MBA (Alberta, 1967) and a PhD in Economics (Alberta, 1975). For almost 40 years he provided consulting services on project and evaluation, economic development and strategy development to businesses, industries, regions and governments across Australia and overseas. In 2007 he was awarded the Medal in the General Division of the Order of Australia for services to the community of South Australia. He lives in Melbourne near his family and grandchildren and is active in research and community. His research interests include regional and institutional economics, small business and management ethics.
