Carol Theokary

Carol Theokary is the Lynn White, Jr. Associate Professor of Business at the Lokey School of Business and Public Policy. She has earned her Doctorate in Business Administration from Boston University and has started her career as an engineer specializing in telecommunications networks. At Mills, she enjoys teaching courses in Quantitative Methods, Operations Management, and Project Management. She has worked on many equity initiatives and puts high value on creating an inclusive classroom designed to elevate student voices. Carol’s research interests lie in empirical modeling across business disciplines and her work has appeared in numerous journals, such as Production and Operations Management, Medical Care Research and Review, Journal of Small Business Management, Service Science, and Journal of Business Research. Her recent research has focused on the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the restaurant industry and the impact of strategic partnerships on crowdfunding outcomes.
