Terri R. Kurtzberg, PhD, is a Professor of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School-Newark and New Brunswick and holds a Dean’s Research Professorship. Her areas of expertise include negotiation strategies and persuasion tactics, electronic communication, distraction, virtual work, and disability employment. Dr. Kurtzberg’s research has been quoted in media outlets such as The New York Times, Fortune Magazine, Time Magazine, CNN.com and on the BBC World Service and WABC Eyewitness News. She is the recipient of multiple teaching and research awards, including the Rutgers University Warren I. Susman Award for Excellence in Teaching and each the Poets & Quants Favorite Executive MBA Professors and the Top 50 Best Undergraduate Business School Professors. She is the author of five books on the topics of job negotiations, negotiating at home, distraction, virtual teams, and remote work.
