Dr. Rohan Mukherjee is the Area Chair of MIS and Analytics at IMI Kolkata. He holds an MS and PhD from IIT Kharagpur in visual information processing and system design, along with post-doctoral experience in machine learning and AI. He has previously taught at IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, and the Goa Institute of Management. Dr. Mukherjee’s work spans AI, machine learning, and their applications in business, and he has published regularly in reputed journals and IEEE conferences. He has also contributed as Principal Project Officer to an MHRD-funded initiative on information access from Indian-language document images. He also takes an interest in the intersection of technology and business strategy and is engaged with several industry forums as a speaker and designs new-age, industry-aligned courses that help professionals understand how technology shapes modern business practice.
