Nazli Turken, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. She received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and an M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of Florida. Dr. Turken had internships with world-renowned companies such as Siemens Yazaki Wiring Technologies, Coca-Cola Bottlers, and Oyak-Renault Automotive Company. She has taught numerous courses in the operations management and analytics areas at the graduate and undergraduate levels; topics covered include service operations management, sustainable supply chain management, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and theory of optimization. Her research focuses on strategic supply chain decisions under environmental regulations, the impact of circular economy and industrial symbiosis activities on supply chains, and performance measure identification and resource allocation for non-profits.
