Mason Ameri, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Rutgers Business School, Newark and New Brunswick. He specializes in managing diversity through equal opportunity for people with disabilities. His work has been profiled in more than 100 media outlets, including The New York Times. Dr. Ameri has had the privilege of sharing his research findings at distinguished conferences hosted by The World Bank and TEDx and has notably advised the U.S. House of Representatives, US Department of Labor, and National Labor Relations Board on matters of equal access. His published pieces can be found in Academy of Management Discoveries and others. Dr. Ameri has earned numerous awards in each research and teaching, including the University’s highest teaching honors, the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Provost's Award for Excellence in Teaching Innovations. His research team recently obtained major grants through the US Department of Health and Human Services for $4.3 million and the National Science Foundation for $1.88 million.
