Dr. Kushagra Sharan, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, IIM Ranchi, chairs the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Area and contributes to accreditation, corporate relations, and other institutional initiatives, and served as founding chairperson of the Research Methods Group. He conducts sessions for senior executives and civil servants covering strategic vision, institutional planning, organizational competence, and strategic and sustainable transformation; and works in the areas of strategic execution, institutional transformation, climate governance, and technological innovation. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management from IIM Kozhikode and a BE (Mechanical) from BIT Mesra, where he is recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus. His prior startup, industry, and consulting experience includes leading large-scale projects across content, strategy, and product management. He is a recipient of the Paul R. Lawrence Fellowship (one of 10 recipients worldwide), the Australia-India Research Students Fellowship (sole recipient across IIMs), UGC Fellowship and the Karen Legge Bursary, and was conferred among the Top-100 Leaders in Education by the Global Forum for Education and Learning.
