Dan Palmon is the Chair of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Rutgers Business School and the holder of the William J. von Minden Chair in Accounting. He received his Ph.D. degree from New York University in 1974. Professor Palmon’s interests include financial reporting, general accounting theory, and corporate finance. He has published in a number of journals, including the Accounting Review, the Journal of Accounting Research, the Journal of Business Ethics, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Group Decision and Negotiation. He has served as director, chair of the audit committee, and a member of the investment pension committee for several large corporations.
