Candice Clouse

Candi Clouse, Ph.D. is the Director in the Center for Community Planning & Development at the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. Dr. Clouse has been with the University for 12 years. Her research concentrates on place image, industry site-selection, anchor-based development, as well as evaluation, data analysis, industry research, and economic impact modeling. Previously, Dr. Clouse worked for CB Richard Ellis, the world's largest commercial real estate firm in marketing and data analysis. Prior to that, Dr. Clouse worked in the nonprofit sector on projects from special event planning to government reporting and analysis. Dr. Clouse received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Urban Studies with a focus on economic development from Cleveland State University. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Wittenberg University. She is a member of the Urban Affairs Association and serves on Levin College's Diversity and Marketing Committees. She is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the global honor society for Public Affairs & Administration, and is a lifetime member of Alpha Phi Omega, the Girl Scouts, and Sigma Kappa.
