Mahmoud Khalik, PhD, MSc, MA (Hons), FHEA, TEFL is a Lecturer in International Business and Management at the University of St Andrews Business School. Dr Khalik currently serves as the Director of Teaching (DoT) for the Department of Management at the University of St Andrews Business School. He holds a PhD in International Business and Management from The University of Edinburgh. Dr Khalik's research interests are Firm Internationalisation from Developed Countries and Emerging Markets, Formal and Informal Lending to Informal Entrepreneurs and Migrants at the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) in Emerging Markets, and Corruption and FDI in Emerging Markets. Dr Khalik has presented at International Conferences, such as the Academy of Management (AoM) and the Academy of International Business (AIB). He has published his research in outlets such as Journal of International Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business, The Service Industries Journal, and Columbia FDI Perspectives.
